AI and Generative AI

Artificial Intelligence, particularly Generative AI, will be one of the core themes which will dominate digital marketing by automating creative processes, enhancing personalization, and help optimizing campaign strategies. AI tools are evolving and have become increasingly useful for content generation, customer segmentation, and data analysis. The knowledge to leverage this is the next big thing for all who work in the advertising and marketing segment. 

Contextual advertising dominance

The name of the game will be high-quality content. By prioritizing content-centric strategies, brands can ensure ads remain effective and engaging, even as traditional tracking methods become obsolete. But having awesome content isn’t enough. No, brands also need to place paid ads in the most relevant contexts.

Can you imagine customers clicking on a toothpaste ad when they’re watching makeup content? Neither do we. That’s why we expect advertisers to increasingly rely on sophisticated AI algorithms for media planning. 

Hyper-Personalization

Advanced analytics and AI-driven insights will allow brands to deliver highly tailored experiences, catering to individual preferences and behaviours.

In the coming year, data and AI-supported tools will increasingly be used to create hyper-personalized ads tailored to the user’s interests and their context. Thanks to the first-party data and the help of AI we can dynamically change ad content based on location, weather, or even the time of day, providing users with timely and relevant messages. 

CTV + Cross Device ads

Today's consumers effortlessly transition between devices such as smartphones, computers, and smart TVs, engaging in activities like shopping, streaming, and browsing throughout the day.

In 2025, Connected TV (CTV) advertising is expected to dominate digital advertising trends as brands refine cross-device strategies. Advanced ad campaigns will synchronize seamlessly across devices, creating cohesive brand experiences. This interconnected approach enables precise, personalized ad delivery, particularly in multi-device households, fostering a more tailored and engaging advertising environment. 

Ingame Ads

In-game advertising is emerging as a powerful tool for brands to connect with dedicated audiences in a fun and immersive way. By integrating their messages seamlessly into popular games, brands can create memorable experiences that go beyond traditional advertising.

To maximize impact, brands should focus on organic product placements or even develop branded challenges that enhance gameplay. As gaming continues its rapid growth, in-game advertising will become an essential strategy for reaching and engaging consumers in innovative ways.
