Media consumption habits in 2022, Slovenia

Chatbots and AI made a revolution in our everyday life. Naturally, brands follow this trend and are frequently using them as a 24/7 assistance for their clients to build an image that they are always here for them.

Influencers are not going anywhere and are here to stay. We can still see one-time collaborations with brands but it is more often that brands choose their long term ambassadors with same values as their brand. Another on-going trend are microinfluencers, as they are perceived as more authentic and relatable.

TikTok advertising is still not available in Slovenia, but this does not stop brands from being present on this platform. They are using influencers and fun video content to engage the public. Besides advertisers we can find other medias, such as radio stations, and advertising agencies on TikTok. So even though advertising technically is not available, brands are finding creative ways to include brands in their content.

A delightful trend is socially responsible campaigns such as helping the bees, prevention of online bullying and helping children from socially disadvantaged surroundings.
